"The way of holiness"
Isaiah 35:8
King James Version
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way,
and it shall be called The way of holiness;
the unclean shall not pass over it;
but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men,
though fools, shall not err therein.
God's HIGHWAY is the way of holiness.
If we respect God, we would not traverse His highway.
Unless we are worthy of the Lord.
For it is the HIGH way.
It is Jesus' WAY.
He is the road back to God.
John 14:6
King James Version
6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.
We cannot continue as we are, subject to the weaknesses of the flesh.
We must be sanctified by the Lord.
We have all walked that sinful road.
Many times over.
Ephesians 2:2
King James Version
2 Wherein in time past
ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
We are all carnal.
Subject to the sins of the flesh.
Romans 7:14
King James Version
14 For we know that the law is spiritual:
but I am carnal,
sold under sin.
There is no agreement between flesh, and Spirit.
Galatians 5:17
King James Version
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other:
so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
As pilgrims, we are to make war on the flesh, for it leads to a different highway.
1 Peter 2:11
King James Version
11 Dearly beloved,
I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims,
abstain from fleshly lusts,
which war against the soul;
Lots of disasters occur in such a road taken.
The only hope we have is to walk in the Spirit.
To be driven by the Spirit of God.
Galatians 5:16
King James Version
16 This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit,
and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
The Spirit has unwavering vision, seeing multi-dimensionally.
How can He not?
He created the HIGH way.
